Matters arising:

Following the site inspections, 1 plot holder was sent a form because of the state of the plot. There was no response to this or to a following letter.  Their lease will not be renewed.

Several members were sent e-mails or letters asking them to carry out work.  There has been no response, and no work started on some.  They will now be telephoned.

At The Little Thurrock School Fete we made a profit of £200. Many thanks for donations of plants and to helpers.

BBQ at Rosedale Road was enjoyed by all who attended.

Rosedale Road Report:

Rubbish is being dragged to gate by holder of plot 13S.  Hopefully this will be cleared by our friendly driver.

As Alan Collins has been tied up this year with his bowls, he suggested that Keith Bacon becomes Asst. Site Manager as he has knowledge of machinery and is mostly readily available.  This was seconded and passed.  Key is to be obtained from Clive Robertson.

Brush cutter to be taken for repair.

Work party to be arranged for October to clear the weeds from Boscombe entrance.  If any member has shrubs to spare they will be gratefully received.

A tree in the cemetery has fallen, causing branches to fall in the allotment, the Council have inspected the other trees and say they are o.k.

  1. Briggs can get rolls of Scaffold Netting, £20 30m x 2m. Anyone interested contact site manager.

We seem to be having difficulty obtaining manure.  L. Roast and T. Briggs both know someone who can supply and have been asked to go ahead.
