Tasting and voting time! The Best Conserve category was new for the 2024 AGM, following a suggestion by Tina Whiberley at the 2023 AGM – very well received by the meeting attendees!

At the top right hand side of photo, the group of trees is the wood next to Green Hill and Bull Meadow allotments are situated next to Green Hill on the left.
When this photo was taken, the Rosedale Road allotments did not exist.

Some school accredited pictures that were taken on a recent visit to Bull Meadow Allotment site by the garden club of Woodside School, Grays.
The children all enjoyed some fresh English variety ‘Winston’ apples and some fresh sweet corn.
A return visit has been planned for next spring.
