9th July 2020 – UPDATE NEWSLETTER

Hi everyone,

Just a catch up for you.

Hope you are all well, if you are having any problems please let one of the Committee know, and we will see if we can help.  Thank you for your co-operation regarding rules for the coronavirus pandemic which were put in place to keep us all safe.

Thanks go to Alan for supplying compost etc. during these difficult times.  Thanks also to the members who have helped with work on both sites. Grow Organic is available on site, £6.50 per bag. See Alan or Clive.

Informal inspections will be carried out before the invoices are sent out for plot rental renewal, which are due by October at the latest, (presuming the AGM does not go ahead due to present situation)  payment can be made  by bank transfer or posted through the Treasurer’s door in Rectory Road.

Seeds

5th April 2020 – SEEDS

Hi  all,

Alan has managed to get hold of some seeds, various sorts from Chadwell Association. If you are interested contact me, I will then tell you what we have and how much NB we are rounding up the price to avoid handling change (it will all go to the shop not us!).

Covid rules still apply, 2 meters apart etc. Please let us know if you are unwell so that we are aware of your situation.

It looks like the summer BBQ will not take place unless things change drastically, will keep you updated, the NSALG are not at the moment promoting National Allotment Week, so we cannot plan for our open day unless things change.

DURING THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS.

ALL MONTHLY MEETINGS ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

WHILE WORKING ON SITE KEEP AT LEAST 2 METRES BETWEEN YOU AND OTHERS.

USE HAND SANITIZER IF YOU HAVE ANY/GLOVES TO OPEN GATES

USE GLOVES WHEN USING SITE WHEELBARROWS PLEASE.

DO NOT SHARE TOOLS.

DO NOT USE COMMON AREAS FOR BREAKS ETC .

DO NOT GO ON SITE IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS E.G. TEMPERATURE/COUGH ETC.

DO NOT GO ON SITE FOR 2 WEEKS IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY RETURNED FROM AN INFECTED AREA.

Seed Potatoes
