Hi all,

Just an update: our open day is Saturday 17^th August 10-1p.m. Spare produce/cakes/help will be appreciated.

I know it is a busy time of year but if anyone has a spare half hour, a little bit of weeding on the Boscombe bank would be welcome.

Outing to Deal Saturday 7^th September, leaving Chadwell Clube 9.20 and the Oaks 9.30. I think I know where you want to be picked up from, but could you confirm  by email, thanks

Or if like me your 10 year booster has run out 2 years ago, book a booster with your doctor.

Chairs from Rosedale Road site have been found in the cemetery, they have now been put on plot 4N

If they are yours you can collect them. Would be helpful if you could hide them or put them in your shed until they have got fed up with nicking them!

16th March 2019 – RUBBISH

Hi all,

We have received a complaint from Thurrock Council regarding a pile of rubbish from the allotment site being thrown over the cemetery wall. This has been put back on the site by Clive R and Alan, Andrew and Alan will get rid of it on Monday.

NB.  PLEASE NOTE THAT ANYONE CAUGHT THROWING RUBBISH OVER THE CEMETERY WALL WILL BE IMMEDIATELY EVICTED.

11th April 2019 – RAY BURKEY

Hi All

Just a short note to pass on the sad news that Ray Burkey a previous longstanding Rosedale Road Allotment member passed away in his sleep recently.

A service will be held at 10.15am East Chapel Upminster Crematorium this Thursday 14th March.

Chadwell Allotment Shop will be open from 21^st January Sunday 9.30-12 and Wednesday 12-2 p.m. for seed potatoes, seeds and all your allotment needs. Located at the far end of Oxford Avenue (opposite Chadwell Club)

Hi All

Just a reminder to members, can you all keep your paths clear and free from debris.

Please remember your South path is your responsibility to maintain.

Also we have had another complaint about bonfires during the day. Please make sure you are aware of the wind direction if you have to light during the day.

Ideally after 6pm should result in less complaints.

Please compost green waste to reduce smoking bonfires.
