ROSEDALE ROAD AND BULL MEADOW ALLOMENT ASSOCIATION.

 Meeting 10th May 2013.

 

Present:

Apologies:  K. Walsh, L. Dartnell.

 

Matters Arising:

Conifers will, hopefully be cut down in the Autumn. The Council should be cutting the trees in the cemetery at this time too.

 

Rosedale Road Report:

Manure and chippings on site. Two fence post on the handrail (Boscombe end) need to be repaired. PLEASE DO NOT LEAN ON THE RAILINGS.

Two water leaks have been repaired.

Two tenants are to be evicted because of non-cultivation of plots. Letters have been sent, recorded delivery.

Please note that it is your responsibility to keep the South side path of your plot clear. Thank you.

 

Bull Meadow Report:

Manure on site. Woodchips needed. The unused part of the site has been fenced off . We do not know who by or for what reason. Andrew will investigate.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

Raffle raised £9.00.  Balance: £3,288.60.

Keith is recovering well, and thanks everyone for their help and good wishes.

BBQ at Rosedale Road will be on Saturday 22nd June. 5 p.m. onwards. Bring some food to cook and some drink, and your friends if you wish.

National Allotment Week: it was decided to hold a tea and cake morning on Sunday 11th August. 10a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rosedale Road.  Cakes will be needed and if anyone has any spare produce to sell, we may be able to raise a few pounds for the society

Clive has applied to the Council for a brown bin for the site.

SITE INSPECTIONS WILL BE MADE DURING JUNE. Date TBA.
