Matters Arising:
Clive Cheeseman’s source of manure did not come to anything. Keith and Alan have found a supplier who will deliver throughout the year. Probably fortnightly. It was agreed to give them petrol money of £10 every 4 trips.
Rosedale Road Report:
After many hours of work by Alan and Keith (plus a new petrol tank) the generator is up and running. If anyone needs to use electric tools see Alan or Keith.
Roy Crowhurst is giving up one of his plot and it was agreed to re-imburse him the full amount by not charging him next year. One half has been let and the other will be let shortly. Two conifers are being felled in a house in Boscombe and the chipping will be put on site. Two visors have been purchased for use with the strimmers. (Safety equipment must be used when using machinery)
Bull Meadow Report:
Les has cleaned and repaired the leak in the fish pond. Thanks to Alan and Keith for putting up the Allotment Watch notices. There is a pile of rubbish blocking the pathway. Les will talk to the person concerned and ask them to remove it.
Treasurers Report:
Balance at today’s date stand at £2867.90.
To guarantee insurance, petrol and gas cylinders must be stored inside a metal cabinet. It was agreed to adapt the concrete bunker for this purpose. Two gates are available at Bull Meadow. Alan and Keith will look into this.

Andrew Klecha is an official First Aider.

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.
Veg Talk. How do you grow Artichokes?
Jerusalem Artichokes will grow anywhere, very easily and spread readily. If you leave some tubers in the ground they will always come up next year.
Globe Artichokes are grown from off-shoots and must be watered well.
Next Meeting: Friday 11th March. 8 p.m. Tyrells Hall Club.
Al members welcome.
