ROSEDALE ROAD & BULLL MEADOW ALLOTMENT ASSOCIATION
Meeting 8.11.13.

Matters Arising.
Chairman welcomed new plot holder Sue Mead.
Hedgehogs will not be re-homed on site due to the use of slug pellets and netting.
The outing to Brogdale was a great success, despite the weather. We may do it again next year.
It has been agreed that because we are a statutory site, we will leave the lease as it is.
Veggie Competition. Heaviest was won by L. Dartnell, and he 3 finest by
Samuel Turnnidge.. Well done to both
Rosedale Road Report:
The main shed was broken into and 2 rotovators and 1 strimmer stolen. The committee had a special meeting to sort out the insurance form. The assessor has visited us and we await his findings It was also agreed to purchase 2 locks on the quick.
Alan and Keith have been working over the past 3 weeks to make the shed more secure. Our thanks for all their hard work.
A COUPLE OF PLOTS ARE NOT BEING WORKED. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE EVICTED IF YOU NEGLECT YOUR PLOT.
No Manure.
Bull Meadow Report:
Manure was delivered, but disappeared quickly. Please be considerate and let others have a share. Anti vandal paint has been re-applied.
Treasurer’s Report:
After payment of water bills: Rosedale Road= £615. Bull Meadow £141.53, we have a balance of £3994.98.
Raffle raised £13.50. (Thanks to Clive and Sheila)

Clive Robertson attended the ATA Meeting on behalf of the sites.
There are still 11 vacant plots on the new site at Blackshots if anyone knows of anyone who would be interested.
ATA are looking for people to become Committee members. It was agreed to pay the membership fees of £10 per site to ATA.
Chadwell Allotmernt Shop is closed until the seed potatoes come in.
It was suggested that a bar gate could be erected at the main entrance to Rosedale (in front of the existing gate) Andrew will e-mail Luke Love regarding this matter.
Veggie Talk.
Plant broad beans, garlic, over-wintering onions, spring cabbage plants.
