Matters Arising – None

 

Rosedale Road Report:

Good condition.  Manure and chippings on site. Plants at Boscombe entrance growing well. Chickens were stolen but later recovered by their owner.  There is 1 vacant plot to be let after 5th November. Waiting list 22.

 

Bull Meadow Report:

Good condition. Manure gone. Andrew to contact water board regarding a small leak on the meter. A new tap may need to be purchased. Fruit stolen once again, (3rd year) A letter will be sent to all Bull Meadow plot holders. All rubbish has been cleared from path.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

Balance £2,794.44. Income = £3163.44  Expenditure = £2,458.17.

Raffle raised £27.50.

It was agreed to raise the cost per rod annually by 20p. (Subject to change) Ths was voted through by the majority of those present.  The current cost of 10 rods on council run plots is £75.00 and set to rise.Please try to help us to keep costs down by using water wisely. Water early morning and evenings where possible.  Sprinklers are NOT to be used.

Help will be needed at a later date for work parties on site. Thurrock Allotment Steering Group will be charging £10 per year to all sites, including ours. Any member is welcome to attend their meetings which involve plots holders from all sites. Contact Andrew for details of dates.

John Lane thanked the committee for their hard work during the year.

 

 

Web Site.

The web-site has been re-vamped. Thanks to Mark Kennedy for all his hard work Visit www.rrbm.co.uk for a look. It would be nice if members joined in the blog.

 

BONFIRE AND BBQ AT ROSEDALE ROAD (TO GET RID OF ALL THE RUBBISH) 5.11.11. Fire will be lit at 5 p.m. and will burn for some hours.

All members welcome to attend, bring some food to cook and something to drink. No fireworks please because of the chickens.
